Sharing Dashboards

How to share dashboards within your organization and with external viewers.

Dashboards can be shared with members of your organization or with external viewers via public links.

Sharing within your organization

You can share a dashboard with specific people, groups, or everyone in your organization.

  1. Open the dashboard you want to share
  2. Navigate to the sharing settings
  3. Search for people or groups, or select Everyone to make it available to your entire organization
  4. Save your changes

The sharing settings show a "People with access" list where you can see and manage who currently has access. You can remove access for any person or group at any time.

You can also generate public share links for dashboards, giving external viewers access without requiring a platform account.

  1. Open the dashboard
  2. Navigate to the sharing settings
  3. Generate a new share link
  4. Copy the link and distribute it to your intended audience

The share link provides read-only access. External viewers can see all widgets, interact with filters and slicers, and explore the data, but they cannot modify the dashboard or access anything else in the platform.

What external viewers can do

  • View all dashboard pages and widgets
  • Interact with map controls (zoom, pan, hover)
  • Use slicers and filters to explore data
  • See cross-filtering interactions between widgets

What external viewers cannot do

  • Edit the dashboard layout or widgets
  • Access or modify the underlying workflows
  • View other dashboards or platform features
  • Access data sources or data layers
  • View active links - see all share links generated for the dashboard
  • Revoke links - disable a share link so it no longer provides access

Security considerations

  • Anyone with the link can view the dashboard
  • Only share links with intended audiences
  • Revoke links when they are no longer needed
  • Shared dashboards show the data from the last refresh - they do not trigger new workflow executions
